Maximum Charge
"In the year 321,838 the first world war using gamma radiation has just passed. The human genome has bean hit hard by the gamma radiation (GR) and has revealed an unbelievable secret. For thousands of years, the human DNA has held dormant strands of 'Monster' DNA. A thousand years later, these monster's are now considered regular citizens of every town they inhabit and are treated like regular people...this is where or story begins..."
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" that's all you couldn’t hear throughout the entire plant. My Dad works at the shield generator plant that protects the city, Doomsday City, from radiation poisoning. I remember that it was take your kid to work day and I hated it, so I tried to sneak off to soccer but the Charge, (our last name), magic helped my dad stop me. Ever since I can remember I've been good at sports. My Dad said that in medieval times, a witch he had saved from a fire-breathing dragon blessed my great-grandfather. The blessing allowed him and all his kin to be the best at something in their life... just my misfortune. On our way, my Dad kept going on about how important it was to work at the plant, I'd heard it all before, so when we finally we got to the plant I decided to practice my balancing skills the dangerous way. As I walked on the safety bars I met up with my weird friend Tech Canx and we got to talking. He always wears a trench coat, gloves, this really big hat and when anybody asks why he has those things on he just ignores them. Anyway I was walking on the bars over the vats, which contain the shield residue when Tech starts to warn me about something, I slip on some kind of ooze and fall in to the vat..."AHHHHHHHHH!!!" As I hit the weird ooze, there was this really bright light and all sorts of things start coming at me. I tried to shield myself but something I couldn’t see held me still. The last thing I remember was a beautiful being saying something to me, then, nothing.
"BEEP, BEEP" was the first thing I heard as I woke up in a storage room, eye's still half closed from grogginess.
"Welcome back, you had us worried there."
The voice sounded strangely familiar, I knew him long ago but could remember who he was or where I heard him before.
"Don't tell me that you forgot you’re own kin?” the voice said again, I could tell that he was far away by the volume of his voice. Although it was a little rough sounding, his voice sounded as if it was a gentle breeze, wafting over the wings of a thunder hawk. Then it downed on me, and I was surprised I could remember him since I hadn't seen him since I was 5...
"Granp's?? I haven't seen you in 12 year's! How are you and why haven’t you come to visit????"
"Wanted to, couldn't. I'll explain later, for now, stop rubbing your eye's and give me a hug." As I looked over at him, I almost went into a comma I was so startled. He wore a sleeveless red vest with gold trim, blue gene’s, matted brown glove's and a weird looking gold bandana with a weird inscription on it. But that's not the startling part; he looked like he was 21 even though my brother was 45!!!! And my mom looked to be about the same age, maybe younger, and she was in her 90's!!!!!! Talk about scary.
"What? Do I got something on my face??"
"No, you gust look... never mind, how long have I bean asleep??"
"About 3 week’s, that ooze dose weird thing to people, your one of the lucky one's... you lived. But-"
"But what?" I interrupted.
"Well you should see for yourself." As he finished, he pointed to a full body mirror to his right. While I slowly got up, I noticed out of the corner of my eye, I saw that there was someone else here but I didn't pay much attention to him. Slowly, I walked to the mirror, still rubbing my eyes. Finally, I looked at the mirror and, thankfully Grandfather had prepared for this already, I nearly broke every piece of glass in the city...
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL HAPPEND TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!"
